OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University posted its fifth consecutive men's soccer shutout, beating Texas-Brownsville 2-0 on Friday afternoon at Stars Field.

The Stars' defense did not allow a single shot in the match. OCU, ranked seventh in the NAIA, improved to 8-1 with its sixth consecutive win.

Stephen Sheffield, a senior from Jacksonville, Texas, scored the first goal for the Stars in the 75th minute of the match. Alex Gang, a sophomore from Seoul, South Korea, scored the second goal in the match in the 80th minute. Scott Jackson assisted Gang on his goal.

OCU faces Mid-America Christian at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Stars Field.
